This is the third ghost bike placed for Roy Sekreta. The other two were removed by the City of Albuquerque and were not given back to those who placed them. The Duke City Wheelmen Foundation continues to press the city to reach an agreement about acceptable ghost bike placement.
Cyclist from all over Albuquerque want to remember Roy and to see a ghost bike placed at this dangerous crossing of a bicycle path and a 4-lane 40 mph roadway.
We will continue to push for safe, prominant placement of ghost bikes in Albuquerqe and New Mexico.
