Min Joo Lee, who was also known as Deep Lee was a fashion student from Korea studying in London. According to the Evening Standard: she suffered fatal head injuries yesterday when she was crushed under the wheels of the HGV.
Road cc points out she was the 13th cyclist to be killed in London in 2011.
In January 2012 cyclists blocked the road at that same intersection asking for more protections for cyclists and pedestrians.
