From the Islington Gazette:

A SECOND "ghost bike" memorial has appeared in Islington - marking
the spot where a 26-year-old cyclist was killed at a King's Cross
danger junction.

Research assistant Rosie Wright, of Mildmay
Road, Newington Green, was crushed to death by a lorry in March 2007 at
the junction of Pentonville Road and Penton Rise, King's Cross, two
days after buying a new bike.

Now a white skeleton bicycle
bedecked with flowers and photos of Ms Wright has been left at the spot
where she died - the second so-called ghost bike to appear in Islington.

Resident
Daniel Zylbersztajn, of nearby Acton Street, who spotted the tribute,
said: "It would be great if they kept that there and then the death
won't be forgotten."

The memorial is almost identical to one
left for cycle shop worker James Foster outside Mosquito Bikes, in
Essex Road, Islington.

The bike was also covered by Crap Waltham Forest blog.

Rosie is remembered on the Trinketization blog.

One for Sorrow notes, "The tragic event took place at the so called “Roulette Junction”
between Pentonville Road and Penton Rise. Ms Wright was the in the
middle lane going straight forward when a lorry in the outside lane
turned left into Penton Rise, crushing her underneath. In an
investigation into the junction, the police recorded 23 incidents at
the junction within a 3 year period and calls from Local MP’s are to
increase the safety for cyclists with the introduction of speed
camera’s and more prominent signage."
