According to a Los Angeles Times local blog posting, L.A. Now "A two-car accident killed a pedestrian and critically injured two others Tuesday
night [which was later updated to say] that a second woman has died as a result of the crash." Sgt Chris Tatar "said the victims were in a pedestrian crosswalk when they were struck."
LA.Streetsblog expresses choice words criticising the absence of charges despite the right of way the women had on the street.
