Hull, Kimberly Yeong Sil, known to all as Audrey Born: April 26, 1985, Kyongi-Do, Korea Died: April 21, 2011 Born in Korea, Audrey came home to her family in Santa Fe, New Mexico at 5 months old. A citizen of the world: lived in Santa Fe; Coppet, Switzerland; Saint Paul. Taught English in Japan, traveled extensively Europe, Asia. Attended Lawrence University, University of Minnesota, where she loved riding her bicycle. She adored cats. She is survived by her brother Jonathan Hull, her sister Michaela and her parents, Suzi Henrichs and Harry Hull of St. Paul. A memorial service will be held on her birthday, Tuesday, April 26, 5 to 7 pm, at the Thrust Theater in the Rarig Center, 330 21st Ave. S., Minneapolis. Parking: 21st Ave Ramp. Friends are welcome to come and participate in sharing their memories of her. Donations in her memory: Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition (www.mplsbike.org) or Feline Rescue Inc. (www.felinerescue.org).

“Everything was going her way as Kimberly Yeong Sil Hull, known to her family and friends as Audrey, biked to her part-time job at the University of Minnesota's Rarig Center Thursday morning.A video she had created had just won first place in a university film contest, she was about to graduate with a double major and she had a new boyfriend she really liked.Suddenly, a dump truck that had been cruising beside her on 15th Avenue SE. turned right onto SE. 4th Street, knocking her onto the crosswalk and crushing her chest. She died at the scene.It was one of the rare times Audrey wasn't wearing her bike helmet, though even if she had been, it wouldn't have saved her life, her mother, Suzi Henrichs, said Saturday from Hull's parents' St. Paul home.Hull was frugal, generous and very creative, her parents said. "She could go into a used clothing store, spend almost nothing and come out with a smashing outfit," said Dr. Harry Hull, her father, a former state epidemiologist.She loved reading, recycling and cats, opposed commercialism and had a flair for designing her own outfits. "She had a look of her own," Henrichs said. "I will miss her fun and sense of humor."
She attended an international school, with students of many ethnicities, for about 10 years when the family was living in Geneva, Switzerland, her parents said. Audrey came to value people for who they are, "not where they were born or what race they are," Hull said.
