Louie Eddie Morales aka FATBOY was vice presedent/ceo & cofounder of Ruff
Ryder Cycle Squad & Cycle Squad Maniacs. Every year at the end of March, on his birthday they come together to touch up the ghost bike and remember Louie.
He was a true biker and the heart of the team. he
was born 03/31/1993 and on 05/03/2011 he was tragically hit at 132nd st. and St Anns ave in the Bronx by the driver of a truck exiting the Fed Ex facility there.
According to the NY Post he was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he died. The 37-year-old FedEx driver was not charged and 'no criminality was suspected'.
He rode
bicycles all his life but had a fascination with dirt bikes and on that
day he was riding his first dirt bike.
Because he was known by everyone as a rider of bicycles, his friend and fellow cycle squad member Steven aka LIGHTS made a ghost bike which was installed by members of the squad together with Louie's mom on that corner in his memory, one year after his death.
