Allerton and Barnes Avenues, Bronx, NY

On Sunday August 24th, Community Members will gather to demand a speed bump on Barnes Avenue to protect children playing in front of the Library.

This speed bump is requested in memory of Michael Needham Jr., struck in front of the Library by a speeding car in June 2008

Travel Directions
2 Train — to Allerton Ave.; walk east four blocks to Barnes Ave.; walk north 1/2 block.

5 Train — to East 180th St.; change to 2 to Allerton Ave.; walk east four blocks to Barnes Ave.; then north 1/2 block.
