Jonny Zanin, who died in the early morning hours of Monday, May 7, 2007, was known as "a beautiful, thoughtful, and [caring] man who always wore a smile and always was thinking of others," and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Jonny was killed on the bike and pedestrian path of the Boulevard Bridge while returning home from a benefit he organized for Food Not Bombs. Police are still investigating.
Sadly, the ghostbike has since been removed.
Below you can see "everyone's favorite photo of Jonny Z" and a wall-mural in his memory.
