Andrew J. (Andy) Hall,
formerly of Whitney Point and Binghamton, NY, and now of Susanville,
CA, passed away after being struck by a SUV while riding his recumbent
trike in Lassen National Forest near Mt. Lassen on July 28, 2012.

He was a Professor of Math, Science and Astronomy at Lassen Community College
(LCC). Andrew leaves behind his best friend and wife in spirit, Ms.
Brandon Loy; his parents, Donald and Caroline (Grocki) Hall of
Binghamton, NY; his brothers, Thomas and Alida and their boys, Peter and
Jared in NC; Matthew and Takako and their children, Michelle and Alex
in VT; and his sister, Krystyna and John Pettengill and son, Nathaniel
in NY.

Andrew resided for a significant time in New York state
and North Carolina, and had a great love of the outdoors through biking,
camping, National Parks and taking his nephews and niece on fresh air
adventures. In memory of Andrew, a memorial has been established.

A
ghost bike was set up on the one month anniversary of his passing by
his brother, Matthew, Andrew's good friend and former LCC student, Brian
Haynes and Andrew's girlfriend, Brandon Loy.
