Thomas Kaufmann, 44, of Tioga, died after he was struck by a Volkswagen Beetle driven by Annamae Patterson, 67, of Tioga according to this article
According to his obituary:
Thomas
was the husband of Denise Gee Kaufmann whom he married July 7, 1984.
Tom was born November 2, 1963 in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late
Adolph and Grace James Kaufmann. He was a Mental Health Therapist for
Family Services of Chemung County, NY, and Director of Social Work
Services for Elmira City School District. Tom was of the Unitarian
Universalist faith, member of the Twisted Spokes Bicycle Club, active
with the Old Home Days Committee in Tioga, and enjoyed running and
biking and loved the outdoors. Surviving are his wife, Denise; daughter,
Kelsey Kaufmann, Tioga, PA; son, Joshua Kaufmann, Tioga, PA;
mother-in-law, Wilda Gee, Lawrenceville, PA; many brothers and
sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles and
cousins. If desired,
memorials may be made in his memory to the SPCA.
