Darcy Allan Sheppard, 33 years old, died in a fatal crash on
Monday night, August 31, 2009. Darcy Allan Sheppard was a bike
courrier and he was studying to be a stand up comedian. A ghost
bike is placed in memory of Darcy Allan Shepperd on Bloor Street
just east of Avenue Road.

While driving his convertible, former Attorney General Bryant hit
cyclist Darcy Sheppard twice. Understandably angered, Darcy Sheppard
grabbed onto Mr. Bryant`s convertible to confront him about it.

With Darcy Sheppard still holding onto the car, Attorney General Bryant
sped up and drove against oncoming traffic. Darcy Sheppard was killed
and his murderer, Attorney General Bryant, walks free without even
having faced a judge or jury.

In 2010 a ghost bike was installed in front of the Old City Hall in protest of the dropping of all charges against Bryant.
