Vicente Sering was struck and killed by a streetcar on Spadina Avenue around 7:30am on November 19, 2010. He was the second known cycling fatality during 2010 in the city of Toronto. According to his obituary, Vicente worked at St. Michael's Hospital for over 30 years. Memorial donations in his name can be made to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation.

Members of ARC, Bike Pirates and local cyclists rode in memory of the Vince who was killed on Nov. 19, 2010 by a streetcar at Lakeshore and Spadina. A ghost bike was installed at the intersection followed by a minute of silence on Nov. 26 during morning rush hour.
In the past 14 months, four people (2 pedestrians and 2 cyclists) have been killed by streetcars on Spadina alone.
