On the evening of March 2, a ghost bike was placed for Carlos Espinoza Ruiz, the second of the year so far in Guadalajara.
Carlos was killed by a city bus driver who tried to flee the scene after dragging him several feet. Witnesses at the scene stopped the driver, Benito Navarro, who was then arrested. The incident took place around 3:30pm on February 27, as the public transit bus neared the junction with Gregorio Dávila José María Vigil, in Santa Teresita.
According to this news report, "For its part, the truck driver was arrested by municipal police in Guadalajara and delivered to the Attorney specializing in public transport to surrender your statement of the facts and determine responsibility."
