Larry died after being struck by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle along Carson Ave, between Palo Verde and Wardlow.

June 26, 2010)--A 58-year-old La Palma man is dead, struck by a pickup
truck while riding his bicycle late Friday (June 25) in ELB.
The LBPD says a 70-year-old LB man was driving the 2010 Ford F-150
pickup truck westbound on Carson Street east of Woodruff Avenue at about
11:50 p.m. when it collided with the bicyclist, also moving westbound.
Police say LB Fire paramedics transported the bicyclist to a local
hospital where he was later pronounced dead. They say the truck's driver
was interviewed at the scene and released pending further
investigation.
Investigators ask anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective Sirilo Garcia at (562) 570-7355.
