Ruihui Lin, 38, became a citizen of the United States last year and
voted for the first time in November, and his pregnant wife and
5-year-old child in China had been planning to join him in Pittsburgh...

Ruth Yee, of the Golden Palace Buffet on Forbes Avenue, told Cipriani
that Gin was an assistant cook at the restaurant, which his aunt and
uncle own. She helped him learn English and pass his citizenship test.

"He was so proud," Yee said. Lin
worked seven days a week, 14 hours a day, and recently saved enough to
close on a house, said Yee, who added that he enjoyed making deliveries
because he liked meeting people."He had nothing but a big smile and always open arms," Yee said.

According to this article the driver who killed him left the scene of teh crime but later turned himself in.
