About 20 people gathered to dedicate a ghost bike for Michael Martino, including his mother, neighbors, clients and trainig partners, who were all his friends. Mike died doing something he loved, riding his bike. He crashed on a favorite decent for Albuquerque riders, due to reasons that we will never know. Please let this ghost bike remind riders to be aware and safe, paying close attention to the road ahead.
A carved stone plaque was placed with the bike that reads "If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever."
Duke City Wheelmen Foundations is honored to help family and friends of Michael grieve and heal.
