According to PIX News:
Gloria Garcia, a 54-year-old from Corpus Christi, [Texas] was biking on West
Drive near West 80th Street on July 17 around 2:10 p.m. when she lost
control of her bike and fell, police said. She suffered trauma to her
head.
Emergency responders rushed her to New York Presbyterian Hospital in
critical condition, police said. She died from her injuries Wednesday [August 24, 2016].
According to NBC news the crash is still under investigation.
