Timothy "TJ" Campbell

Timothy “TJ” Campbell was riding his bicycle on Varick Avenue at 9 pm
when [the driver of] a garbage truck from Action Carting Environmental struck him near
Meserole Street in East Williamsburg and kept on driving without
stopping.

Police have not made any arrests or identified the driver, but
highway patrol officers have impounded the garbage truck and continue to

T.J. Campbell
was born on July 12, 1986, in Moline, Ill., the son of Jay and Roxanne (Determan) Campbell. T.J. graduated from North Scott High School in 2004. He moved to New
York where he most recently worked as a fork truck operator for Budweiser. T.J. enjoyed drawing and driving his 1968 Camero.
Survivors include his father, Jay Campbell, of Eldridge; his mother, Roxanne Determan-Campbell, of Arizona; a brother, Victor Wilcox, of Pleasant Valley; sister, Amber Wilcox, of Missouri; grandparents, Harold
and Velma Campbell, of Pleasant Valley, Joe and Mattie Determan, of Virginia, and Nina Ray, of Nebraska; and his girlfriend, Rebecca Noparast, of New York.
